Life has generally been busy, but things are good. Who woulda thunk, it's nice to have a stable full time job 🤪
Been working on the Pavlove animation when I have the time and when I'm not EXHAUSTED...
urg I really want to get a working photo gallery up, thinking of doing like a photo blog/journal or something idk. it would be nice to post some land scape pics or whatever. Been wanting to get outside more often now that it's getting closer to summer.
and I still want to brainstorm a redesign for this website but it's quite low on the priority list
Totally random, but I think cutting off toxic family has allowed me to heal and grow. It's hard to really stand when people are constantly cutting you down and you have to spend so much energy surviving and tending wounds that get torn open over and over again. So for now, it's peaceful. I think I am as happy as I can be during this season in my life, and given the world circumstances. Maybe things will get worse, maybe the world economy will collapse, but I have faith that we can do better as a people. Tarot readers would call this "a tower moment" but life finds ways to grow past and grow stronger from terrible times. Maybe this is what we need to rebuild our sense of community and finding strength with in each other.
This capitalistic world was designed to isolate us, social media is dividing us into our on psycological bubbles that keeps us from connecting with the people around us. There is no more room for individuality, only chasing phantoms of trends, dilusions, and ways of life that are frankly fake and unobtainable.
I'm always sad that the internet I once loved has devolved into ai slop, corporate greed, and everything is literally driving us mad. They will try to take everything from you it seems.
But, we're still here. For whomever is out there... You are lovely, we're sailing on this boat called life together. Trouble is temporary, and tomorrow always brings the opportunity for a better day. We're keeping it real here on neocities. I love you.
